<\/span><\/div><\/div>On September 20 and 29, The Climakers <\/strong>community from Asia and the Pacific region<\/strong>, farmers, and other stakeholders from the agricultural sector met digitally to shine a light on the best practices for climate change mitigation and adaptation implemented by the farmers and their organisations in the APAC Region.<\/strong><\/p>\nJointly organised by the World Farmers’ Organisation<\/strong><\/a> and the Institute for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in Asia (IDACA)<\/strong><\/a>, with technical support of the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF)<\/strong><\/a>, the two-day workshop \u201cFarmers\u2019 Solutions to Climate Crisis: Asian and the Pacific Region Stories from the Field\u201d <\/em>offered a platform to farmers from the APAC Region to share their experience to cope with the devastating effects of climate change.<\/p>\nModerated by Hirofumi Kobayashi, Executive Director of IDACA<\/strong>, the event featured the participation of over 100 attendees.<\/p>\nCONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n- Farmers acting to inform decision-making under a changing climate: Guidelines for Policy Makers<\/strong><\/a>
